All I'm Asking For is a Little Respect
San Clemente California | August 18 2026 ................ Respect, the very word commands esteem, trust, strength, equality. Respect oneself, Respect others. How does an intangible characteristic like “respect” effect a society and what elements even define respect? While there are many choices, the AmerAsia Report “Respect Index” measures levels of societal self-rule, rule of law, diversity and equality………………..These data points are grouped as a collective and compared to each countries respective Per Capita GDP. How do countries with a “High” Respect Index perform for their citizens? How about against the rest of the world? …………… Turns out, the top 10 countries on our Respect Index are ALL in the top 25 GDP per capita globally. The “poorest” citizens in the Top 10, Finland and Canada, earn $60,000 USD per year and in the number one country, Ireland, every citizen earns $140,000 USD annually. Small countries you say? Hah, small isn’t small if every citizen in these countries is living the top 25 global dream; Large, Rich and Healthy. Perhaps this is due to a high Respect Index. It’s not about country leaders at all. It’s about us, the citizens and our societal Respect Pillars. It comes down to each of us and our individual lives. I need pie. You need pie. We all need pie. Let us grow the pie. Please hear this when I say "All I’m Asking for is a Little R-E-S-P-E-C-T". |||||| Click on "Go to the Article" link below for "All I’m Asking For is a Little Respect” Original music video by AmerAsia Report, original theme song by Aretha Franklin.
